subway station right in front, high kitchen, cycle stand
This place could use some serious signage to find the entrance!!! Also, the telephone was a pain, with so much static. I tried calling for help but nobody answered, leaving me feeling pretty stranded!!!

The apartment offered a spacious kitchen but
the shower was a daily struggle, with inconsistent water temperature. However, the location was excellent, with the subway nearby, making it easy to get to downtown Manhattan. Overall, it was a decent stay for solo travelers despite some quirks.

Empire Blvd Guest House? what a disaster. Dirty, dirty, dirty! I was absolutely humbled to be greeted by those delightful bums outside, they really set the ambiance! Also, no one bothered with my late check-in request. I expected at least a complimentary snack for the trouble. I almost gave a good review but just couldn't.

I enjoyed the spacious kitchen and the convenience of having a fridge for leftovers, along with easy access to public transportation right outside. The atmosphere was relaxed and perfect for solo travelers like myself.
Shower temperature was inconsistent and tricky to manage.

Man, those halal shawarmas at the spot right across from the subway were the real deal! Perfectly spiced and always fresh, I was eating them every day. Plus, the subway station was a lifesaver—straight shot to Times Square in just 40 minutes. Seriously, an apartment with a big kitchen, fridge, and a chill vibe was a win for solo travelers like me!
Now, the check-in process? Total chaos! No sign to point you to the right door, and I felt like I was playing a game of knock-knock for days. After waiting around for 20 minutes, I had to bounce and find somewhere else—no service, no problem solving. Just left hanging like a lonely bagel on a Sunday morning.

The kitchen has ample space, perfect for solo travelers, although I didn't cook during my stay. The convenience of the subway right outside the building made trips to downtown a breeze, taking only about 40 minutes to reach Times Square. However, the surrounding area felt unsafe, with unsightly conditions that made me cautious during late-night returns. The inconsistency in the shower temperature added to the inconveniences, making it a struggle to enjoy a comfortable wash.

Recommend it for solo travelers
The apartment had three separate rooms,, and the kitchen was spacious, even if I didn’t use it. The subway station right in front was a lifesaver,, taking me to Times Square in just 40 minutes.
It wasn’t exactly cheap,, but for what you get, it’s still acceptable.
